Some Notes...
This keto friendly pizza sauce freezes up nicely. You may want to double the batch, and then freeze in small containers for use later on!
When you choose your tomatoes, check the ingredients list to make sure that sugar isn't there. Tomatoes are high in sugar naturally so we certainly don't want any additional carbs sneaking in.
Fresh Herbs At Home
Something new we are doing this year at home is growing fresh herbs in our AeroGarden. As I type this we are just getting ready to plant a second one and expand beyond growing basil, oregano, parsley, dill and thyme. We are going to try some peppers and lettuce and see how that goes as we head into the colder months of the year.
We can't wait to move out of the city and back into rural Iowa where we can have a huge garden full of fresh produce just like my great-grandma used to have.
Do you have a garden outdoors? What are your favorite things to grow? Comment and let us know...
