The solution?

Make your own Keto Salad Dressing! Start with this Caesar Salad Dressing with Kefir
(or you can use heavy cream mixed with water)!
This easy Keto Caesar Dressing uses basic ingredients that you probably already have around the house. It can be made either with heavy whipping cream mixed with water or with kefir.
This is a Keto Recipe which means it is high fat and low in carbs. You could easily adapt this to a lower fat option by swapping out the ingredients.
Why Kefir?
Milk Kefir is a tangy fermented beverage that is loaded with good for you gut bugs (priobiotics). We love kefir in salad dressing is a great way to enjoy it's tangy flavor. It also has great shelf life in the refrigerator. We go through a full batch of this in 3-4 days.
What if I don't have Kefir?

No problem! Instead of using milk kefir, just use heavy whipping cream mixed with water in its place. Heavy whipping cream is a great ingredient for a keto recipe because it's very low in carbs.
How many carbohydrates are in Kefir?
If you head to the store and look at a kefir label, you'll notice the kefir has quite a few carbs. Commercially made kefir uses a different process than a homemade milk kefir recipe. I recommend that you make your own kefir at home to truly enjoy a low carb kefir. During the fermentation process, the kefir grains digest the lactose in milk. (Lactose is sugar found in milk) Therefore, the result is a delicious low-carb kefir. We ferment ours for about 3 days which yields in a tangy and low-carb kefir beverage!

Keto Caesar Salad Dressing
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup Kefir whole milk
- ⅓ cup Mayonnaise , chosen foods avocado
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2-3 cloves Garlic diced or through garlic press
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 2 drops Young Living Black Pepper Vitality Essential Oil
- 1 tsp Anchovy Paste or 2 anchovies
- 1 ½ tsp Dijon Mustard
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- Whisk or blend all the ingredients except for the Parmesan cheese together
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese into the Caesar dressing base. Enjoy!
