With a lot of things going on in the world right now, it’s completely natural to turn to food for comfort. It’s an immediate escape.
But some of us stress-eat and feel guilty after doing it. What does it do? It increases our stress level and it becomes a cycle that only gets worse until you come into realization of what you are actually doing.
Focus on a growth mindset. We’re all capable of change. You can do hard things, you’ve done them before.

Is fruit okay while on keto? [18:40]
Small amounts of low-sugar fruits are okay in moderation after you get into ketosis. Look for low-sugar fruits such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and even strawberries..’
One trick we use is we combine it with some fat, either whip it up with heavy whipping cream of coconut cream. This slows down the digestion.
Keep in mind that you have to log it just to understand how much carbs you are consuming. The higher your carbs are everyday, the longer it will take your body to get into ketosis.
Why am I so hungry all the time? [20:57]
Hunger? Or your brain expecting food based on external cues? Hunger tends to be a hormone imbalance issue. When it strikes, avoid feeling deprived by eating REAL food. Don’t depend on shakes/processed foods. Eat real food.
When you are on a calorie deficit, it shouldn’t be more than 500 calories per day especially when just starting keto- it adds too much stress on the body.
