Thieves Mold & Mildew Remover

Jun 15, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Did you know that you can use the powers of Thieves Essential Oil to remove mold and mildew? Use one of these options for a successful Thieves mold & mildew remover!

We first discovered this little trick when we had mold grow inside one of our window panes after the freeze - thaw cycle our first winter in our home. For this job, we placed Thieves Essential Oil directly on the mold and let it sit for awhile and then wiped it off. It worked like a charm!

The next time we used it was to clean out the inside of a moldy mini-fridge. Our breaker flipped and we weren't home to notice and the result was a stinky mess. So, we mixed up a strong concentrate of Thieves Household Cleaner and added extra Thieves Essential oil and sprayed it down, let it sit for an hour and then wiped it out with a clean, damp cloth.

How To Make Thieves Mold & Mildew Remover

For a Thieves mold & mildew remover, you can use a couple of drops of Thieves oil directly on site if the area is small. For larger areas, such as the inside of freezers, refrigerators, driveways or sidewalks, fill a bucket with 1-3 tsp of Thieves Household Cleaner in warm water. Apply to the area and allow it to sit for 30-60 minutes. Then rinse or wipe out.
