From My Keto Kitchen to Yours!
Are you looking to outfit your keto kitchen? I'm often ask “Where did you get that kitchen tool?”. This is a list that highlights some of my favorite kitchen tools that make working in the kitchen even more fun.

Salad Spinner
A salad spinner is a versatile keto kitchen tool because it can double as a strainer and makes washing & rinsing lettuce, fruit & produce a breeze.
Take out the inside strainer and fill half way with cold water. Add a half-capful of Young Living Fruit & Veggie Soak and mix.
Cut off the bottom of your lettuce and tear it up into the strainer bowl. Then submerge the lettuce into the wash mix and follow the instructions on the bottle.
Rinse thoroughly under cold water and spin the water out of the leaves. Move the lettuce around and repeat the spin.
Whisks
You'll want to have some different sized whisks handy in your keto kitchen. I have a few favorite whisk options from small to large! These really are a must-have tool for any keto kitchen.
I prefer to choose something durable that will last me years.
This larger whisk by kitchen aid comes in a variety of colors. My kitchen aid whisk I've had for over ten years!
Mini-Spatula's
Mini-spatula's are an essential tool for your keto kitchen. Especially when you make your own salad dressings and other desserts. These are also great for getting into the bottom of nut butter jars.
You'll also want a few large size spatula's of different shapes and sizes that will hold up well to heat.
When I'm shopping for spatula's, I look for ones with silicone handles because the wood handles, although pretty, just don't hold up well over time in the dishwasher.
Food Scale
The most accurate way to measure ingredients in your keto kitchen is by weight. In my “Whole Keto” course, we talk about weighing our food to learn portion sizes. Plus, kids just love learning using a simple scale.
I have two kitchen scales. One larger one that I use for everything from weighing food to weighing packages and another smaller, compact scale. You'll see me use both in a variety of my videos.
Cast Iron Skillet
A cast iron skillet is priceless in your keto kitchen, especially when cooking with fat! We cook everything from bacon to pancakes in our cast iron skillet. You'll generally find it sitting right on our stove-top!
A good cast iron skillet will last multiple lifetimes if it's well cared for. There are even instructions on the internet for bringing an old cast iron skillet back to life.
If you're purchasing a new one, I recommend a name brand and one that comes with a lid.
Ceramic Baking Sheets
We absolutely love our ceramic baking sheets. They clean up incredibly easily and are durable over time. Two qualities we all look for in our keto kitchen tools! We've been using them for years and recommend them to all our friends & family.
Glass Measuring Cups
Glass measuring cups are so commonly used in our keto kitchen that we have multiples of each size. These are a ‘must' for your kitchen tool list.
We really like these little 5 ounce glass measuring cups which you'll see in quite a few of my keto recipe videos.
Stainless Steel Measuring Cups
A good set of stainless steel measuring cups & spoons are essential kitchen tools. I prefer stainless steel over plastic because they seem to hold up over time better.
Cheese Grater
We love cheese and this cheese grater gets some heavy use. We really like the shape and sturdiness of this version.
This is also used to grate or thinly slice vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers or onions for our salads. It's not just a cheese grater!
Electric Wok
Having an electric wok has been an amazing experience. It keeps the splatter away from our gas-range which makes clean-up a breeze.
We make things like stir-fry green beans, stir-fry cabbage & sausage and so many yummy and delicious dishes with this.
Mixers
Hand Held Mixer
A hand-held mixer is an important and often used tool in our keto kitchen. We use it to whip up heavy cream to make real whipped cream and to make our famous ‘cheesecake' no-bake dessert.
I love the kitchen aid mixer because of all the fun colors–and i just like the kitchen aid brand. We have the red version but it comes in a variety of colors. What color will you choose?
Stand Mixer
This Kitchen Aid stand mixer has been an essential tool in my kitchen since 2007. It's been a true workhorse and will probably last my entire lifetime. Or, until I hand it down to one of my kids.
Crock Pot & Instant Pot
The crock-pot. One of modern times greatest keto kitchen tools.
We use ours for everything from roasts to chili to roasted vegetables. It's a great way to “roast” things without turning your oven on during the hot summer months.
We actually have a number of different sized crock pots that I'll link here. The 6 quart crock pot we have is oblong which works very well for large family size roasts and chickens.
We also have a 3 quart Crock-Pot and a 1 ½ quart Crock-Pot.
Instant Pot
And, of course, I had better mention the Instant Pot which doubles as a slow cooker and a rice cooker. It's become a great multi-tool for our keto kitchen.
Meat Thermometer
A meat thermometer is another often used tool in our keto kitchen whenever we cook meat. We want to make sure we've cooked it to the perfect temperature.
We really like the options with a dual probe and a backlight.
